The Weber State University Research Foundation partners with faculty, staff, entrepreneurs, and community businesses to provide financial, business, and technical assistance to the most promising new technologies and early stage companies. WSU also provides an Office of Undergraduate Research to strengthen and enhance the learning environment at Weber State University by engaging and mentoring students as researchers and scholars within and across the disciplines while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
WSU is also home to the Hall Global Entrepreneurship Center. The center has a wide-range of opportunities to motivate, inspire, and provide unique resources to help students achieve their dream of starting a business, or increase their creativity and develop an entrepreneurial mindset, which is highly sought after by today’s employers. Distinguishing factors of the unique program include world-class instructors, startup funding, and availability to any student enrolled at Weber State University, regardless of major. Entrepreneurship students can qualify for up to $15,000 in seed funding to help launch a new business. Each year, the center also offers several full scholarships and nearly $40,000 in prize money from our various business competitions.< Back to All Articles
