Julie Korenberg, Ph.D

Julie Korenberg is a USTAR professor of pediatrics and director of the Center for Integrated Neuroscience and Human Behavior at the University of Utah. Her current research focuses on Williams syndrome, a genetic mutation that causes serious physical and behavioral deficiencies. With magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Korenberg is decoding the genes to better understand the biological pathways of hyper-social behavior. Korenberg is a founder of the Department of Human Genetics, UCLA and established the Neurofibromatosis Clinic and Programs for Down syndrome and Williams syndrome at Cedars-Sinai Health System.
