Letter of Intent
A Mandatory Letter of Intent (LOI) is required to submit a full proposal. The LOI should include the proposal title; contact information; technology sector; a brief description of technology, unmet need, and project deliverables (500 words maximum); TRL and justification (300 words maximum); a brief description of team member’s role and responsibilities (250 words maximum); estimated total budget request; GRAMA disclosure; W9 form; and a quad chart summarizing key elements of the technology and commercial positioning.
Submit the LOI and documentation by August 25th 2017, 5:00 p.m. MST. Failure to submit a letter of intent by the due date will disqualify your application. Send letter of intent to TAPinfo@utah.gov.
Complete Applications will be accepted electronically at taputah.com. Applicants will be required to create a profile and agree to all terms and conditions for the program. The website accepting online applications is optimized for the Google Chrome browser. It is suggested that applicants refer to the provided checklist (provided on application website) to ensure submission of a complete application, including the GRAMA disclosure, W9, all subsections of the white paper and scope of work, budget and budget narrative, key personnel biosketches, and letters of support. All submitted documents must be in PDF format.
