Leo After Hours Presents: Rush Hour, Transportation Solutions for a Sustainable Urban Salt Lake
On Thursday, Aug. 13, The Leonardo and the Utah Science and Technology Research agency (USTAR) will present the next installment of Leo After Hours, which will focus on transportation solutions Salt Lake City can expect in the coming years.
Rush Hour: Transportation Solutions for a Sustainable Urban Salt Lake will provide attendees an insight into the future of transportation. Discussion topics will range from current transportation plans, increased bike use within the city, and the future of transportation issues relating to driverless cars, electrified roadways and alternative means of transportation.
Jennifer Napier-Pearce, journalist from the Salt Lake Tribune, will moderate the event. Panel experts include Regan Zane, USTAR professor and director of the Electric Vehicle and Roadways facility at Utah State University; Ben Bolte, founder and director of GREENbike; Andrew Gruber, Wasatch Front regional council executive director and Robin Hutcheson, Salt Lake City transportation director.
